Jillian Smith (she/her) is a NYC based theatre maker. She currently works hospitality and experience at ATG broadway venues, currently at the St. James for Queen of Versaille. She previously was located at Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club at the August Wilson. Jillian also just closed out the production of House of McQueen off-broadway as a sub and assistant House Manager. She has also had plenty of production and producing experience with Prospect Musicals for both their Mix/Match concert and IGNITE Festival series, featuring work such as Ryan Scott Oliver’s We Foxes, Broadway Barkada, Cherry Orchard featuring Katrina Lenk, Amberland, Women in Wicked Panel with Winnie Holzman & Emily Kristen Morris, and more!.
As a director, she gained numerous experience teaching and directing youth theatre for Skyrise Theatre where she has worked since 2015. In her two year stay, she directed over 30 full-length musical productions, as well as private acting coaching, social media management for the company, and teaching a variety of performance classes. She also worked as an acting assistant at the Hanover Theatre Conservatory in Worcester, MA. Her acting technique includes Stanislavski, Meisner, Anne Bogart's Viewpoints, and Laban.
She graduated from Muhlenberg College with a degree of Theatre with concentrations in Acting, Directing, and Performance Studies. During her time at Muhlenberg, she completed the Videography track and worked for the Marketing Department of Theatre & Dance as a dance videographer and editor. College credits include: Merriman in The Importance of Being Earnest, The Narrator in The Saint Plays, and Videographer for Magic!. In 2024, she had the absolute pleasure of traveling to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to assistant produce two plays, Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind and The Night Children (World Premiere) with the Los Angles Theatre Initiative.
